    1.過去將來時(shí)表示在過去將來的某一時(shí)間發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)，一般用在間接引語中，主句謂語運(yùn)動詞為過去時(shí)，一般形式為“would/should+動詞原形”。
    I never imagined that he would become a doctor我從未想到他會成為醫(yī)生。
    I asked her if I should see her the following Sunday我問她下個(gè)星期日是否能和她見面。
    2.特殊用法：過去將來時(shí)可用“was/were about to +動詞原形”結(jié)構(gòu)，表示過去正要進(jìn)行的動作。此外，過去將來時(shí)也可以用“was/were to +動詞原形”，“was/were +現(xiàn)在分詞”及一般過去時(shí)等表示。
    I was about to leave when it began to rain 我正要離開，這時(shí)天開始雨了。
    I was seeing off my sister at the station the next day.第二天我要到車站。
